Genova, Italy native Alessandro Lupi creates works, he calls “Densita fluorescenti” or Fluorescent Densities. His works are comprised of polyamide threads painted one by one with fluorescent paint and/or photoluminescent illuminated by black light. With a keen eye and steady brush stroke, Lupi creates “silhouettes” of figures that look almost photo realistic yet ghostly.
