Reactable is an instrument that is both visual and sonic. Developed by the Music Technology Group of the university Pompeu Fabra of Barcelona, it allows several performers to control the movement of small objects on a luminous surface. The interactive surface technology is based on a camera-projector system and permits the recreation of components from a classical speech synthesizer module.
