The interactive application allowed guests of the installation to create generative artworks out of other people’s boredom. Guests were encouraged to pick a city and one of six subjects that was most complained about by Twitter users from that city. Then, they were asked to pick a photo palette of 3 photographs. These photos were pulled from Flickr and were taken in the chosen city and tagged with the chosen boring subject. Finally, at the last stage users were able to create generative artworks by interacting with the application and its data-driven drawing engine.
