The WebGL Globe uses an interactive 3D representation of the Earth to visualise geographic data like world population, latest earthquakes or search volume by language. Created by the Google Data Arts Team, the project is an open data visualisation platform for anyone to copy the code, add their own data and create their own globe. Globe visualisations get more interesting every day.
